We revisited and re-engineered the tip trailer concept to launch the GT series with a tougher, smarter and more user-friendly design totally suited to NZ and Australian farming conditions.
Offered in various capacities ranging from 6 tonnes to 20 tonnes, a larger deck size offers up to 15% more capacity than the previous models, and newly designed side boards slam shut and self-lock with clever heavy-duty latches.

A steep 57-degree tip angle makes sure everything slides off, and our rear pivot placement gives you the best tipping clearance when the deck is raised. Great for building stockpiles and means you won't get stuck or bulldoze the ground
Slam shut latches are incredibly secure and easy to use. The clever design locks tighter with trailer movement
Large decks and high sides let you to carry more volume to get the job done quicker, and easily lift the rated tonnage. We design all trailers to lift about 30% more than the stated load
Every Giltrap trailer has the toughest deck using 5mm steel and plenty of hot rolled channel cross members to stand up to the heavy jobs
The free-standing tailgate means you can drop or remove the sides without taking the tailgate off. The large rear support posts also hold the sides rigid when the tailgate is removed.
Side Opening Tailgate - adds flexibility to load the through the back of the trailer without removing the tailgate. The gate is hinged on the left hand side of the trailer and swings all the way around to latch against the sideboard if you need to. Standard on the GT14 and larger trailers. Optional on the GT6, GT8, and GT10
Spreading chains are standard on every trailer allowing you to control the flow rate of gravel, sand and shingle for building and repairing farm tracks
Two tailgate hooks keep the tailgate securely closed.
The tailgate has an auto-trip latch system which is actuated with a wire rope or an optional hydraulic cylinder and trips the gate locking hooks automatically at a preset deck angle
Heavy-duty rope rails let you securely tie down your loads
The swivel towing eye is flange mounted. Simple to swap for a K80 ball hitch or easily replace for maintenance
Oversized stub axles with sealed bearings in the hubs are fully welded into oscillating walking beams. The walking beam pivots have replaceable Vesconite bushes for high load and low wear, with remote greasing for simple maintenance.
Hose storage on the front landing support bar for the deck keeps your hoses neat and tidy and out of the mud
